Mission
Delta C’s corporate mission is to identify, develop, and deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions which contribute to energy, food, and water security.
Our Services
Take your craft to the next level
Delta C provides scientific and technical consulting services but is not a traditional consulting firm. Rather than providing “brains by the hour” Delta C is an “ETP” operation which provides Engineering assessments to identify Technical solutions and facilitates Procurement to deliver those solutions.
Delta C works with transmission and distribution companies and technology vendors to identify energy efficiency opportunities in high-voltage electricity systems. This is one of the biggest opportunities globally for energy efficiency, emissions reductions, and climate resilience in electricity supply systems.
Delta C provides field services to ensure that ACCC® conductors are properly installed in accordance with design specifications.

Our Projects
Upgrade of 115 kV transmission line using high-temperature/low-sag ACCC® conductors for expansion of wind power in the Philippines. The wind power capacity is increasing from 81 MW to 241 MW. The transmission capacity is being upgraded using the existing right-of-way and transmission towers. When completed the transmission asset with have a true “N-1” capability. The 1st circuit was completed and was energized in February 2023.
Technical assessment for deployment of ACCC® conductors on new 230 kV and 400 kV transmission lines in Bangladesh. Asian Development Bank (ADB) provided a debt financing package with co-financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and a climate change co-financing contribution from the Japan Fund for Joint Crediting Mechanism (JFJCM).
Technical assessment for deployment of high-performance conductors on new high-voltage transmission lines in Nepal. This project was designed to evacuate up to 1500 MW of new hydropower capacity which was mostly at an early conceptual stage. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) had planned to build a 400 kV line with traditional ACSR conductors, but this was not readily justifiable on an economic basis due to the uncertainty with the hydropower buildout. The techno-commercial analysis (conducted with the invaluable assistance of colleague Paul White) showed that a 220 kV line with ACCC® conductors would provide better technical performance with equivalent economic rate of return compared to the initial 400 kV design. This reduced the overall project cost. Asian Development Bank approved financing for this project in 2014. Since this project was approved, NEA has mainstreamed the use of high-performance conductors for both new lines and retrofit of existing lines to increase grid capacity, enhance efficiency, and improve grid resilience.
